30+ years of serving tween and teen girls, I know from personal experience how special 12 year olds are.

These are the years where writing habits are formed and cultivated. I've seen it again and again. I even have my own journals from way back when to look back on - and what a hoot to see the emerging me over these past decades!
That's why I started to publish books: to inspire, encourage, engage girls.
